Project Overview
LGP is a long established commercial print company based in Leeds. LGP were moving into new premises where the existing lighting levels were poor, insufficient for the effective running of the business and inefficient therefore an opportunity of energy cost reduction. A need for new LED lighting was identified with full specification to British Standards guidelines.
Project Delivery
A professional lighting design was provided for the site including lighting specification with options for low glare LED Luminaire. Branded components were provided by Venture Lighting Europe, with a 5 Year Warranty on all Lighting. GRW Electrical were the main contractor to carry out the work on site with full design and commissioning with warranty and documentation on completion.
Final Results
- Over 500 lux average in the Print Area
- 200 Lux in the Main Warehouse Area
- Over 80% Energy Saving compared to ballast type lighting.
- Zero Maintenance cost for 5 years
- Improved uniformity throughout office and warehouse
- Health & Safety issues minimised with safe light levels
